CAMPER FALL-WINTER 2010/11: EXTRAORDINARY CRAFTS

Creativity full blast for the new Camper fall winter 2010/2011 collection. New collaborations and future stars go hand in hand with great performance attributes and the usual attention to details. Creative genius and manufacturing leadership under one common denominator: quality.

The Camper Together stable welcomes Romain Kremer and his brilliant play of materials and styles. Bernhard Wilhelm’s unconventional vision comes to life in eccentric and colorful sneakers, with a unique three-piece TPU outsole. Veronique Branquinho’s second collection for Camper joins the latest creations from the “veteran” Maria Blaisse and Jaime Hayon. Many facets and a single strategic vision.

ACS and Mamba. Two easy solutions for city life with a strong identity, embodying the essence of Camper shoes: recognizable aesthetics, comfort-bound technology, attention to details. Stylish comfort is the essence of the black and curvaceous Mamba, equipped with a 6.5cm “retro heel” and a super-flexible semi-Strobel construction. Its TPU casco sole makes Mamba ultra-light and highly resistant.

ACS for men’s and women’s is an urban sneaker which incorporates sports and casual worlds’ technologies for maximum style and comfort. ACS champions the advantages of direct injection construction: less glues, more flexibility, unique styling. Extra convenience comes from its stretch neoprene sock for perfect fit, and Coolmax® lining for breathability. The latest and greatest from the Camper collection include Mar BDC, a feminine, timeless shoes whose striking feature is a leather covered heel, which enhances the sculpture-like volumes of the design.

On the performance attributes’ side, the collection proposed five stories this season: Hybrid, P87 cushioning system, Lightweight, 360º stitching and Waterproof. The Hybrid story develops around the iconic Pelotas Bold, Peu Cami, Peu Nara, and indoor Wabi Wool. These lines boast a combination of recycled, eco-friendly, and new materials, each line with unique details and the same eye to sustainability. Chrome-free leathers are less polluting for the environment and healthier to wear.

Camper P87 cushioning system consists of a PU insole and a transparent TPU outsole providing high cushioning with a unique Camper design. Launched with K3, it is now extended to the new Balance line. Thanks to protected eyelets, special zippers, treated leathers and sealed seams, Waterproof Sirimiri and new Peu Pista are shoes designed to withstand even the rainiest days. More shoe, less weight. Grip, durability and resistance are the features of the extra-light sole, distinctive hallmark of Pelotas Xlite and Beetle.

360º stitching is the technique used for Industrial high and Brothers Impala: the last and the sole are sewn together for more resistance and flexibility, with less glue. The sole, thicker at the heel and softer on the front side, cushions the walking impact giving maximum comfort to the foot.
