`TRANSITION ´

Spring/Summer 2012

After the incident in Japa we started to challenge a lot of things both creatively and personally. We asked ourselves what we can do as a fashion label. We then decided to do a `revisiting the past ´ collection using pieces from our previous collections instead of creating new patterns. With the time saved we want to invest in research on sustainability, environmentalism, fair trade and social aspects. All of the collections have been produced entirely in Germany from the very beginning, however there are stil many aspects of our work we would like to improve. We just want to learn more about it and then try to figure out in which way we can steer Reality Studio into this direction, to make our life and the label more purposeful.

Who – Svenja Specht a product and fashion designer and creator of Reality Studio (founded in 2005) with previous experiences working worldwide in Paris, Cologne and Beijing. She now lives and works in Berlin.

What - Women’s wear. Signature pieces from Spring/Summer 2012 include: highlights of previous collections like the 4-Arm pullover, the Salam-All-n-One, the renowned variable Plaid scarf with button fastening and many more favorites from the last 13 collections.
